BeejiveIM beta v1.9.6

We are happy to announce the beta release of BeejiveIM for BlackBerry! If you'd like to test this beta version, please use the links at the bottom of this post.

What's new:
- file transfers via link, you can now transfer files to buddies on all IM accounts.
- push when app running in background (see preferences in app).
- send voice notes
- send GPS location (if supported by phone)
- new chat styles & background images
- new buddy list layouts
- improved battery life
- overall UI redesign
- various other bug fixes & enhancements

This is beta software and not a production release. Bugs and defects are to be expected! Please report any defects in this forum.

This beta is NOT for the Storm - a new Storm build is coming soon. This beta is also not supported on devices with OS's below 4.2.1 or the 5.0 beta OS.

Please uninstall your old version, restart the phone, and use the link below to install the latest beta.

Didn't you say, 1.9.6/2.0 will support native Push via RIM-Push-API? As I see it, there is only a IM+-wannabe-option for mail notifications - isnt it?

PS: Message box integration does not work either. Great work Beejive. Dont see any changes for now except this wallpaper-thing. 5 months? I see.

PS2: ICQ bug still exists. What did you do 5 months? Playing tetris?

Notifications not showing up is an OS bug.

Notification color led doesn't work anymore on my Bold (4.6.0.301).
I set purple, i see purple the first blink, then always red. Same thing with other colors.
Even with or without push email alert.

On the previous version when I scrolled my trackball left or right it would jump a page up or down my buddy list...I don't see this on the new version.

I was playing around with it, and just off the bat: Send GPS location doesn't work... Running on Bold 4.6.0.301. And neither does message integration with inbox (something I really liked...).

May I ask when will it be fixed for message integration? Or until what OS was it supported?
