how do yo know this? It has not changed in iTunes?

although their sales have increased, they have moved up to top sold apps list

I see the update in iTunes for IM+. Version 3.0 and it has push.

Don't believe it, they have just said that the app is still under review by apple but you can have the email work around in the meantime, they just dropped the price in the last few hours too. Push is NOT working for them yet, just a ploy to increase sales

REALLY? That's weak!

I see people talking about it on Twitter though saying Push is working for it?

Meh, I don't care.
IM+ sucks ;)

I have a feeling Apple will make the update for AIM available first since it's been demo'd and was tested during the 3.0 beta period for developers. Once that one comes through, we'll probably start seeing the other IM apps get updates.

Wow, false advertising saying they're push enabled and they're not? Shouldn't apple do something about that?

It says right here that is has Push enabled: (in the Canadian iTunes store)

"OS 3.0 FULLY SUPPORTED. MESSAGE PUSH AND MORE IN APPLE REVIEW."

I guess they're "in apple review" is a way of tricking people. It says version 3.0 but then they add that line. Sneaky.

I have to say that after all the anticipation and Apple dropping the ball on the Push notification service multiple times it seems they would actually of had some apps approved that are useful with push notifications. It is pretty lame that we now have the feature that Apple bragged about but wont let any real apps that show the service off be sold or approved. Crazy scam if you ask me!! JMHO It makes me wonder if they are worried about their infrastructure still. Seems like they might be afraid to let to many people onto the service. Hopefully this isn't true but I don't see approving BeeJive would be a large task considering that they have been approved many times before and it is one of the most popular apps on the app store. So instead of pulling the Push notifications out of this update they just decided to control the applications that have this capability.
