I found a fix for now that works on 1.1.2, this worked on my 8900

Edit permissions, under RIM tab, set all to ALLOW, then go to MIDP JSRs tab, expand the MIDP2 tree, and set each option to ALLOWED. Works perfect.

I can confirm that this works.

I have done the same on my Bold running OS 5.0.0.348

Works well.

For some reason the MIDP2 tree is greyed out. Any idea why?

Jim, I just purchased my first BB (Bold 9700 /T-Mobile) and I purchased both Beejive and TweetGenius but neither app will load onto my phone. I see that neither app supports OS 5.0 on this device. I need some assistance as to my options at this point. Thanks,
Kevin

And kind of preferring it to the beta... Remind me what are the useful differences between 1.1.1 and 1.96?
