ive been testing this program for a couple days now and this is what ive realized about this beta and the other released ones.

when a menu pops up the lag in being able to select one of the options is terrible. for instance... if a new buddy is added and the menu ask if i would like to view this i.m or postpone it to later... it takes a while for me to be able to select which option i want. also with new ims from buddies who are NOT on my buddylist already... it is extremely difficult to not only answer there ims due to the selection lag... but after the conversation..... if i want to add the buddy to my buddy list it doesnt exactly work and that buddy is never added.

Ending conversations>> when i go to end a conversation thru the menu button..... it takes a while as well to close that conversation and weirdly enough, the actual conversation that i want to be closed never really is... instead another conversation is closed. pm me if there are any other questions (its hard to explain typing this problem)

switching from portrait to landscape takes an incredibly long time and i think the accelerometer within the program is the problem.

and of course as i keep mentioning THE TYPING AND SCROLLING LAG NEEDS ALOT OF WORK.... and i feel it should take precedence over everything else

lol even with these problems... there is no other aim application i rather use !!!

I am after one thing: Sametime on BlackBerry

I can log into Sametime. Yay! I can initiate a chat and/or receive chat with others. Yay!

However, I cannot add buddies, as others have reported here. I can go through the process of adding a buddy, but then no buddy appears. I have tried adding the buddy in the format of "Firstname Lastname" and "FLastname" and neither works. (I mention these because either method works for initiating chat.)

What's interesting is while I'm in a chat session with someone, suddenly I have a buddy list and it contains them only. Ironically, however, when the chat ends and it asks me if I would like to add this person as a buddy (to which I respond "Yes"), both the buddy and the buddy list disappear once more.

Moreover, I already HAVE a buddy list setup in my Sametime account through my PC. It would be ideal if this list populated. But being able to manually add them over again on my phone would be enough, if it worked.

Fix buddy creation in Sametime and I'll gladly buy your software.

I've been using the beta 1.9.5 for a few days now! Here's what I've noticed thus far:

1) Log ons are a little delayed at times, but very quick others! Maybe that just has to do with the connection speed at the time.

2) Battery sucking dry

3) When I am the initial person to message someone, my message does not show up on the message list where texts/sms/emails/etc are. When someone else replies or starts a conversation, that's when I'm able to get it from the Messages list.

4) When I tried logging off all accounts one time, I sent Beejive into the background. When I brought it back to the foreground, the disconnection process was canceled and I was still logged onto all my accounts.

5) Sometimes the scrolling becomes stuck and takes a few seconds before I can scroll up and down again.

I'll report more as I find more things to report. Overall, its shaping up to be my #1 favorite app again!!!!

I have installed dozens (and uninstalled) of applications on my devices... and some that don't come anywhere near to the quality of the software comping from Beejive... And yet, I've always been able to use the Notification when they were available..... I have installed/reinstalled Beejive on mumerous occasions.... battery pull? at a minimum once a day... I have not been able to fix this problem.

I'll vouch for Jim's comment that the notification issue is not related to BeeJive. I have had the same issue with Gmail as well as other apps. The app specific areas in the notification setup screens can randomly come and go. No point in spending time re-installing or doing battery pulls... none of that seems to help.

Hi, it's me again. The annoying blackberry bold user. I'd just like to point out that if other builds of the beta were to come out, I'm sure you'd get more feedback :) <cough cough> blackberry bold ;) hehe. I like beta testing. :D

Our current 4.6 version will work with the Tour.

I'd like to second, or maybe third, the battery draining issue. I thought it was me, but only when I run this version does my battery only last a few hours. This was a fantastic app on my curve, so I'm very anxious for these few bugs to be worked out.

I don't know, the explanation of the profile sounds doesn't make a lot of sense to me. On older betas, it would show up and if it disappeared, a battery pull always brought it back. Why would that suddenly not be the case on newer betas? It's definitely an OS problem, I realize that, but something else must have changed.
